This ring is crafted from one of the famous Rolex demitasse spoons that were only given out to those who purchased a Rolex from the esteemed Buchere jewellers. Initially produced in 1950s and since retired, they have become very rare and highly sought after spoons. The inside of the band is inscribed "Bucherer of Switzerland", commemorating the partnership between Rolex and Bucherer - the jewelry company that Rolex deemed equal to the quality of their timepieces. Bucherer was founded in 1888 and is based in Lucerne, Switzerland and they collaborated with Rolex to design these fine spoons. The outside of the band says "Lucerne", which is the Swiss location that this spoon was created. Of course the famous 5-point crown and Swiss shield are the beautiful focal point of this ring. This spoon is now a ring that is sure to become a legacy piece in your family.

A small piece with a big history, each ring has been handcrafted from the stem of a curated piece of vintage stainless steel silverware. They have been cleaned and polished, but have led a long, useful life and bear the signs of use proudly. Each will be different which adds to the uniqueness of your item.

Metal stamping is a process where steel shanks with a letter or design on one end (stamps) are hammered into the surface to displace the metal and create an impression.
Please note that I stamp each item by hand with a hammer, so there may be some slight variations. Sometimes not all characters will be perfectly aligned as this is the nature of hand stamping - no two will ever be the same!

It is always recommended to remove your jewelry when using products, showering, swimming, working out, or sleeping.
