About

Turning yesterday’s treasures into the memories of tomorrow. I create timeless & unique keepsakes from reclaimed vintage pieces, giving once-loved items a new life. Each creation is handcrafted with care in my home studio.

Hey there, I’m Callista. I am a formally trained Peace Region artist and photographer, and a self-taught DIY expert. I attended Emily Carr University and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts.

I restore vintage furniture & show you how to do the same. We also share the DIY process around our farmhouse renovation, and I love to share easy craft ideas with you. I am also a crochet designer specializing in plaid patterns and textural effects. My goal is to create stunning designs that look complex but are easily achievable for any skill level.

My husband, Travis, and I have been together since high school and we have two sons. On May 30, 2018, Calvin was stillborn at 39 weeks due to a true knot in his umbilical cord. It shook our world. Together, we are picking up the pieces of our imagined future, and continuing to try to find the joy in life after loss. On May 17, 2019, we welcomed our rainbow baby, Lane into our lives. And on September 27, 2021, our baby girl Lila joined us as well.

We are currently renovating (as in, completely rebuilding) a 1940s farmhouse we moved onto our property. We are doing all of the work ourselves so it is a lengthy project, but so worthwhile. We finally moved in in May 2020, three years after starting. However, the work is never done!
