Christmas Deadline & Shipping 2024

Shipping Update

All orders placed after Dec. 17 will be shipped out after the holidays. Merry Christmas! Anticipate shipping delays due to extreme volumes with all carriers as Canada Post resumes service.

As you probably know by now, Canada Post is on strike. As a small business owner in rural Canada, this majorly effects me. Canada Post is my only local shipping option. However, I am committed to making this work for my customers. For now, I have removed Canada Post shipping options entirely from my website. Instead, I will be using a courier to get all my packages to the Chit Chats hub in Calgary which can then deliver to the USA via USPS, and to the rest of Canada through their other partnered couriers. I am unable to ship to PO boxes and rural routes at this time, as they are only serviced by Canada Post. 

I will be sending my orders to Calgary weekly, and they will be distributed from there. Please account for additional delivery time with that in mind, as well as the increased volume all other carriers will be experiencing during the strike (as well as this seasonal time). It's a tough situation for many of us, and I appreciate your patience and understanding as us small creators do our best to figure this out. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Christmas Deadline 

One of my business goals has been to work towards a better work/life balance as a small business owner, creator & full time mom. I cannot control the strike, I cannot control delivery times. I am choosing PEACE and setting an early cutoff for Christmas orders that need to be shipped:

Most of my items are made to order, so this should ensure I have enough time to create all your beautiful items and allow sufficient time for delivery. Remember, packages can get very backed up this time of year (especially customs). I can also send you an image if you'd like to print something to put in a card for your recipient! I cannot guarantee any arrival dates.
 

If you are local to Grande Prairie or the surrounding area, you can place your Christmas orders up until December 12.

I will be dropping them all off at the Primitive Lane for you to pick up there (contact me for the local code). You can also shop a selection of my items there, as well as at the Centre for Creative Arts in Grande Prairie.

My regular creation time of 5-7 business days (plus holiday shipping times) will resume in the New Year, as I take some time out of the studio to enjoy the holiday season with my family.
